I grew up respecting writing, both the written and the read and I went to University to study Journalism. Since my studies I have continued to write and currently work as a Journalist in the UK. I only came across children's writing when I completed a work placement at BBC Cbeebies where I was lucky enough to have 3 of my stories adapted for radio on BBC Radio 7.
I like to write each story as simple as possible so they can be read out loud by children and parents, teachers and other professionals to young people.
They are written with the idea that the magic of childhood should never go overlooked and the imagination is something we should cherish... Whatever age.
